"Newsreel-type coverage of Bob Hope and troupe, consisting of Anita Bryant; Jill St. John; Maria Alberghetti; Janis Paige; Miss Corinna (Kiriaki) Tsopei, Miss Universe; and Jerry Colonna presenting their annual Christmas show to US Forces stationed in Vietnam. Includes scenes of Bob Hope and troupe alighting from MATS C-118A--crowd reaction shots -- especially with Col Ezal, Base Comdr. After the regular show, Mr. Hope presented 1st Lt Williams of the 311th TCS with the American Red Cross Life Saving Award -- in return Mr. Hope received several momentos, including an Air Commando hat."

"Shows are photographed at Longbinh, Camranh Bay, Danang, Chu Lai, Phu Cat, USS aircraft carrier Hancock, USS battleship New Jersey, all in South Vietnam. Korat and U-Tapao in Thailand. The cast includes Bob Hope, Les Brown and his band Honey LTDs, singing act; Penelope Plummer, Miss World; Linda Bennet, singer; Golddiggers, song and dance group; Ann Margaret, actress; Dick Albers, trampoline act, and Roosevelt Grier, football player. Audience reaction shots of soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen in the various locations. Gen Creighton W Abrams appears in reels 3 and 15. US Amb Ellsworth Bunker seated in audience with high-ranking officers in reel 5. NOTE: Amateurish coverage. Large sections of film are out of focus and badly scratched. Some poor exposures and camera lens not in proper positions. Poor camera angles and unsteady. Some parts are usable. Keeping for the record."
